Beautiful Autumn wedding….
Cody and Danielle got married on a beautiful sunny autumn day at The Playhouse Cafe and Theatre Restaurant. Not only was it the last month of autumn but it was also our last wedding for the season. Surrounded by the love of family and friends and it was an absolute gem of a wedding. Sit back, relax and enjoy their magical day.
Rocking back 8 years ago Cody and Danielle became friends on facebook, however it wasn’t until 3 years later that they connected. Cody was going about his business having a coffee at the Richmond Mall where he often stopped after work, when he spotted her walking through the mall doors. He was rather impressed with what he saw and decided to flick her a message when he got up the nerve a while later. Fate stepped in and as they say the rest is history.
They didn’t really ask each other out but ended up at a speedway meeting together and just decided to change their facebook status to ‘in a relationship’. Speedway has played a big part in Cody’s life and the same season he met Danielle, her brother was also racing so she tagged along to all the club meetings cheering them both on.
Cody has retired from racing but younger brother Keightley is carrying on the family tradition, tearing up the tracks and keeping the Teece legacy alive.
It was Cody’s stunning blue eyes which first attracted Danielle and also the fact that as they got to know each other, he also showed love to her young son Lucas. As well as Lucas, they now have two more beautiful children.
Hmmmm Cody that is NOT where the tie goes.
Mamma bear to the rescue – that’s better.
Cody and the boys were having a lot of good humoured banter as they got ready for the big day.
One very handsome groom right here!
Having had over 10 years experience of pinning the guys’ wedding flowers on, I told Andrew there was absolutely nothing to worry about and that I hadn’t pricked anybody YET hehe.
Surrounded by your family and your mates is the best.
Cody’s brother Keightley also happens to date our eldest daughter Tayla, so basically they’re part of the family now.
The boys jumped into the super cool pink Cadillac and we headed up the road in search of some autumn colour.
Rocking it boys!
Just up the road, talented makeup artist Emma King was creating her magic on Danielle who was looking rather gorgeous.
As you can see, we were literally in detail heaven…
Danielle’s mother Tania was amazing, taking control of the three littlies and making sure they were all dressed and ready for the big day.
The bridesmaid dresses were absolutely lovely, pink is such a pretty colour for a wedding.
And then it was Danielle’s turn to dress like a princess. She had been waiting in excitment for this day for a very long time.
How cute is little Little Miss Kaylee and those big blue eyes, just like her daddy’s.
Girlfriends are just the best.
Danielle was a vision of lovlieness and check out the stunning bouquet by Suzette from D’vine Event Design!
These three wee treasures looked super cute all dressed up for the wedding.
Here comes the bride.
Danielle and her father Darrin walked up the isle to Shania Twain’s song ‘From This Moment’.
It’s such a beautiful time of the year to get married at the Playhouse Cafe and Theatre Restaurant, we were so lucky to get the last of the spectacular autumn colour.
We love wedding celebrant Hope Rogers. Not only were we lucky enough to photograph her wedding a few years ago but she has also been one of Cody’s best friends since their college days. Apparently they used to skip school occasionally and stay home and watch the daytime soaps hehe.
Meet the new Mr and Mrs Teece.
Happiness.
Totally in love with this vibrant tree, blessed to find this beautiful spot.
YIPPEE – MARRIED!
Such a precious wee family.
This beautiful setting was just a dream for wedding photos.
These two being all cute and stuff!
So many laughs with this awesome bunch of people, absolutely loving the colour theme.
Our next beautiful setting. The day just kept getting better and better, love the reflections.
Cool socks boys!
Another lovely lot of trees which have now been felled aaargh, hope there’s some good spots left for next wedding season.
The blue dodge is one spectacular wedding car!
Vicki york from Icedelites made the gorgeous cake.
“Going into the future as husband and wife remember marriage is much like a forklift. If you show it no respect and never give it the attention it deserves, don’t service it regularly and top it up with fuel, and don’t show any appreciation for the way such a small machine can lift such a big load, then eventually it will just die out and go rusty, seize up and stop working. Marriage is much the same! So fuel the forklift, drive it with respect, give it a polish and service it regularly, then that forklift will keep on humming and you will have a successful marriage.”
There were a LOT of laughs during the speeches as you can see!
As a surprise, Danielle’s girlfriends had chipped in and organised the amazing John and Candy from ‘Krammit’ to play and everybody danced the night away.
Cody and Danielle, your wedding was an awesome gathering of family and friends and we felt privileged to be a part of it. Wishing you and your wee family all the very best in your future together.
