Breakfast at Tiffany’s
Daron and I waited with excited anticipation for Eddie and Monique’s wedding. They had decided on a 1950′s themed wedding – Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
Monique is an air hostess and as she spends a lot of time travelling around the world, her mother Anne organised most of the detail for this unique themed wedding. From the invitations right down to the napkin rings, Anne didn’t miss a thing. The table settings looked incredible. The reception was held at the Grand Mecure Monaco Resort and the guests were certainly in for a treat.
What better place than the Monaco Resort to start the day off with photographing the groom, groomsmen and reception table settings. Eddie grew up in Romania and spent four years as a wedding photographer on cruise ships travelling to exotic locations around the world.
Boys, having fun!
This is the ‘Princess room’ where Monique grew up in the family home. Every little girl dreams of a room just like this (even big girls like me). Monique had three absolutely gorgeous dresses for the festivities, one for the pre-wedding cocktail party and drown the gown (also featured on Storybook), one for the wedding day and this dress which was worn for the wedding breakfast and dance.
We love photographing the special items from the wedding day.
I love this house, the rooms are so beautifully decorated and the high ceilings and gorgeous light are perfect for a bride getting ready on her wedding day.
Monique looking absolutely stunning, was the picture of pure
elegance in this classic Italian designed 1950′s style wedding
dress. She looked fit to marry a prince and of course she was
with Eddie being her prince charming. Monique and Eddie
met while travelling through the Caribbean on a cruise ship
where they both worked. I think that’s very romantic.
The 1950′s era was about beauty, style and glamour. Daron and I love
magazine glamour photography, so this wedding was right up our alley.
What a lot of fun dressing up as a bridesmaid today, certainly a day they will remember.
Cool old wedding car, another great choice for this 1950′s wedding.
The guests await in anticipation for the bride to arrive – so exciting!
It was a lovely service and all the more special as Eddies family had travelled all the way from Romania to share his wonderful day.
Eddie and Monique married!
The newlyweds decided on the rustic look for their outdoor photos. A lot of couples this wedding season have chosen this location so we do make an effort to individualise everybody’s photos and make them unique.
Daron and I love to capture the true essence of the wedding day romance.
This old vintage car fitted in perfectly with the 1950′s themed wedding.
Back to the Monaco for some more stunning wedding photos.
The magnificant train on Moniques dress made these shots in
the bay window spectacular.
Eddie and Monique, thank you for inviting us to share your special day,
we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. We wish you great happiness for
the rest of your lives together.
